Garlicky Soy Edamame

This is quite possibly the easiest and most awesome snack alive. The end.

PARTS
— 12oz bag frozen edamame
— 1 tbsp sesame oil
— 3 garlic cloves, peeled + minced
— Red pepper flakes, to sprinkle
— A few big splashes of soy sauce
— Optional: squeeze of lemon or lime juice, sesame seeds, garlic powder, furikake, flaky salt etc.

CLUES
1. Heat sesame oil in a medium sauté pan over medium heat. When oil is shimmering, add the garlic, red pepper flakes and a pinch of salt + pepper. Sweat for 30 seconds.
2. Add frozen edamame. Feel like a scientist when everything smokes like dry ice. Toss edamame around so that every guy gets coated. Pour over soy sauce. Cook until all pieces are warmed through, about 6-8 minutes.
3. Once cooked, place in a shallow bowl and serve warm, making sure all the crunchy bits from the pan make it onto the finished edamame. Sprinkle with salt and enjoy.
